Our Story
It started with a simple belief: the people make the party. In 2006, HABIT was born in Leeds — a night built not on names or hype, but on the raw, euphoric power of house music and the community that lives inside it.
Two decades on, HABIT is a movement. Uplifting vocal house, hands in the air, a crowd that knows every word. Every record played. Every night delivered. In service of that first feeling.
From Leeds to Dubai and beyond — this is our 20th anniversary year. And we're just getting started.
From Pontefract to Dubai — HABIT is everywhere. Grab your tickets and join the party.
HABIT heads to Pontefract for a proper Christmas special. Deep house, soulful vocals, and good times — the perfect way to get festive season well and truly started. Family-friendly finish at 10PM means you can make a night of it.
HABIT takes over one of Dubai's most spectacular rooftop pool venues every Saturday. House music, sunshine, and that unmistakable HABIT energy — every week. Don't miss it.
Set sail on the Arabian Gulf with HABIT DJs soundtracking the sunset. A floating dancefloor, stunning views, and the kind of vibes only HABIT delivers. One of Dubai's most talked-about events of the year.
21 years of HABIT — and we're going bigger than ever. Back at our spiritual home, The Space in Leeds, with a very special headline set from the iconic Julie McKnight. This is the one. Get involved.
Feel It Before You're There
The Founders
Two DJs. One vision. In 2006, Alex Simmons and Danny Bond started HABIT with a simple idea — build a night where the music does the talking and the crowd does the rest. No gimmicks. No ego. Just house music and the people who love it.
Twenty years on, that idea is still the foundation. Alex and Danny have shaped the sound, the feel and the culture of HABIT across hundreds of nights, building one of Leeds' most loyal dancefloor communities from the ground up.
This is their labour of love. And it's just getting started.
